Rigid Scope Repair Technicians

Job Description:

  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair and/or inspect Endoscopes to assure proper function.
  • Inspect and perform repair tasks on complex service orders.
  • Troubleshoot product and direct line technicians on proper repair methods.
  • Assess the quality and productivity of repair line and coordinate improvement activities.
  • Research, communicate and assist in resolving process issues.
  • Ensure technicians accurately complete all service records, flash reports and Discrepancy Material Non-Conformance reports.
  • Conduct and support process audits to maintain and improve quality standards.
  • Facilitate and coordinate on the job training for line technicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years “Lead” or “Supervisor” experience in an production/manufacturing environment is required; or a minimum of 5 years experience as an internal Endoscope Technician II is required.
  • Ability to perform multiple endoscope repair tasks is essential.
  • Must be skilled in team building, goal achievement and motivation.
  • Proficient knowledge of production techniques for Work in Process management is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of quality concepts and quality improvement techniques is desired.
  • Basic knowledge of parts acquisition and inventory control is necessary.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills are preferred.
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks to technicians to meet goals is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and motivate a team is essential.
  • Planning and organization skills are a must.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 /year
